After high school Jennifer competed collegially at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. Her team won the NAIA National Championships in 1992, 1993 and 1994 in cross country. This team is still the only one in NAIA history to win back to back to back National cross country titles. She was the team captain in 1993 and an All American Cross Country Athlete 1994.
